Eric Kros joined Capitol Hill Consulting Group as a Legislative Assistant in July 2020, bringing experience in tax policy, non-profit advocacy, and local/state government relations.
Eric primarily works with CHCG’s consultants and clients on Native affairs, agriculture, energy, and tax policy. In his role, Eric authors weekly legislative updates, drafts RFPs, provides hearing coverage, and assists with meeting preparation.
Prior to joining CHCG, Eric spent two summers as an intern at a Washington, D.C. based lobbying firm that specialized in tax and trade issues and was a legislative monitor for a Kansas based lobbying firm for the 2020 state legislative session. Additionally, he interned in Senator Deb Fischer’s (R-NE) office and worked at the Senator Robert J. Dole Institute of Politics.
Eric graduated from the University of Kansas with a B.G.S. in Political Science and Public Administration with a minor in Business.
